Article 1: General Provisions
The rented items are under the responsibility of the person making the reservation as soon as they take possession of them. The items are rented for the exclusive use of the customer and may not, under any circumstances, be lent, subleased, or entrusted to a third party free of charge. The customer must take care of the items with due diligence and ensure their safekeeping.
The reservation of a package (base item with an option) is personal and cannot be used for multiple individuals.
The items can only be collected and returned during the store's opening hours.
The various items offered are described by category and not by a specific model. The photos shown are for illustrative purposes only and are not contractual; however, the responsible party commits to providing quality equipment corresponding to the reserved category.
Article 2: Online Reservations Must Be Made
- Online reservations must be made at least 24 hours before the first day of rental.
- A deposit must be paid to confirm the reservation, amounting to 10% of the total service amount. The balance will be settled upon arrival at the store.
Prices are subject to change at any time without notice, with items being billed at the rate in effect at the time of order registration.
The offer cannot be combined with any other promotional offer (not presented on this website) of any kind (vouchers, discount coupons, etc.).
Any order confirmed with payment cannot be modified.
This contract is subject to French law, and transactions are conducted in Euros.
Article 3: Payment Terms
The order confirmed by the customer on the website will only be effective once the central bank card network has given its approval.
Only bank cards with the CB, VISA, or MASTERCARD logos issued in FRANCE or within internationally approved networks recognized by GIE Cartes Bancaires are accepted. Your banking information entry is secured. Your bank card details will not be shared or stored on our website, as they are directly entered into the Cyberplus payment module of Banque Populaire. Your card number, expiration date, and security code will be encrypted and will not circulate "in clear text" on the Internet.
Article 4: The Customer Is Solely Responsible for Choosing Suitable Items
You are free to choose the items you wish to rent. However, if your skills do not allow you to determine the items corresponding to your level, we strongly recommend contacting us for advice in your selection.
Article 5: Loss / Theft / Damage
The rented items must be returned in good condition.
Any damage to rented items will result in the payment of repair costs or the item's replacement value if it cannot be repaired.
The customer is responsible for taking measures to ensure the safekeeping of the items. They must ensure that any chosen guarantees cover the risks of damage, loss, or theft of the rented item during the rental period.
If the item is not returned due to loss, theft, or any other reason, the item will be charged.
Article 6: Reservation Cancellation
The customer may cancel the service provided they do so within 24 hours before the scheduled date by email at: info@locations-de-ski.fr. The amount paid on the website will be refunded within 15 days following receipt of the request. If you book less than 24 hours before the start date of the service, the amount paid on the website will not be refundable. Failure to notify the intention to cancel the service within the above deadline will result in the amount paid not being refunded.
If the percentage of the ski area open is less than or equal to 30% during the rental period, the amount paid on the website will be converted into credit for a future rental.
If the provider deems that on-site conditions do not allow for the service to be performed during the rental period, the amount paid on the website will be converted into credit for a future rental.
No refunds can be made after the items have been collected.
In case of a refund of the amount paid on the website, the refund will be made to the account used for the payment on the day of your reservation.
Article 7: Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
By checking the box "I accept the terms and conditions" during the reservation, the customer accepts these general terms and conditions, which constitutes an electronic signature between the parties, equivalent to a handwritten signature.
Article 8: Protection of Your Personal Data
The information requested during the reservation is necessary for processing the order. In accordance with Article 34 of Law 78.17 of January 6, 1978, known as the Data Protection Act, the customer has the right to access, modify, correct, and delete the information concerning them.
